Last week, the Second Graders had the opportunity to get into the school garden with Mrs. Akard. We had lots of fun learning about how creepy crawlies are good for the soil. We each had a turn with the hand trowels, and we also got to see an eggplant grow. Mrs Hadeed took the eggplant home and made a delicious dip called 'Matabal'. We all got to try some at recess time. Thank you, Mrs Akard for showing us the garden and thank you Mrs Hadeed for the delicious dip.
