Author's Celebration

During Writer's Workshop, students work hard on developing a piece of writing that they can share with others.  We have been working on personal narratives.  The students have gone through the writing process, pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing and publishing.  During our author's celebration, students have the opportunity to evaluate each other's work.  We give each and star and a wish - what we liked and how we could improve our writing.  It is a great opportunity for children to share their work, but also to listen to others and to give feedback.
